How to Make
Step 1
Firstly, using the template draw and cut out the shapes from the hessian roll and felt. Fold the hessian in half and stick the sides together leaving the top open.
Step 2
Cut a length of jute twine and thread it through a plastic needle.
Step 3
Create a straight basting stitch around the top of the hessian bag. Make sure both ends of the jute twine start and finish at the front of the bag.
Step 4
Stick natural raffia to the top of the bag, below the stitch. Then, stick on the scarecrow’s accessories.
Step 5
Use a fine paintbrush to paint on the nose stitches and the mouth.
Step 6
Pop your treats in your mini scarecrow bag. To close the bag, pull on both ends of the jute twine and make a bow.
